Work with the applet below, dragging the vertices of the original triangle (blue points), and calculate these new lengths. What pattern emerges if the sides are other than 1?

After adjusting the side lengths, you could click on "File -> Export" menu and save this file as an image and print it or use it in another document. If the entire spiral is not visible, use the "Zoom" feature to adjust it, then save the image.

With a little imagination, as we've seen in the last "Extension" page, this same pattern could be taken to the realm of 3D.
