I have volunteered and been asked to present at several, local and international conferences over the last several years:

  1. ICTCM (International Conference on Technology in Collegiate Mathematics) 2002, in Orlando, Florida -
I spoke on "Microsoft's Producer",  a (free) PowerPoint add-in that bundles all the authors video, audio, PowerPoint slides, HTML  pages and notes into a nice neat package.
  2. TIME (Technology In Mathematics Education) 2006, sponsored by KATM and SouthWest Plains Regional Service Center (SWPRSC), in Liberal, Kansas -
I took three of my Freshman math students, presenting information on Dr. Peter Jipsen's "TiddlerWiki."
  3. TIME (Technology In Mathematics Education) 2007, sponsored by KATM and SouthWest Plains Regional Service Center (SWPRSC), in Colby, Kansas -
One of my Freshman math students and I presented information on "PMWiki".
  4. Technology Fair 2008, Sponsored by "Kansas State Department of Education", in Topeka, Kansas -
Myself and three students presented material on both VoiceThread and WizIQ.  During our WizIQ (virtual classoom), sessions, our participants included parents, students from our school back home, and several others from around the country.  We also had one international participant.  Unfortunately, we did not record this session.
  5. ICTCM 2008, in San Antonio, Texas -
This year my topic was called "Authentic Assessment using VoiceThread."
  6. NECC (National Education Computing Conference) 2008, sponsored by ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education), in San Antonio, Texas. -  Myself and three colleagues are scheduled to present (July 2, 2008) materials on TechSmith's "Camtasia Studio" and "VoiceThread".  Our primary focus for this lecture will be on "Creating MathCasts", (math screencasts).
  7. NCTM Regional Conference, (October 2008) in Oklahoma City - Again, I am scheduled to present on "Authentic Assessment Using VoiceThread."
